2023 Was an incredible year

Wow is all I can say about what 2023 has been! I thank you, Lord, for bringing the vision you gave me in 2021 into fruition. I didn’t know what it would entail, how much work would be involved, or the depth of personal growth that I would experience, but you did. You’ve helped me to feel like I’m finally walking in my purpose. There were a lot of times over the past three years when I was filled with doubt and fear, but you encouraged me to persevere. This year, you showed me the fruits of that labor in a gloriously tangible way. I thank you for allowing me to go on this journey. I thank you for trusting me, and I thank you for allowing me to be a tool for your kingdom. Thank you for helping me to prove to myself that I was capable of doing it with your help. Thank you for changing the narrative of my life in my own brain. I thank you for helping me to live life unfettered, with a full understanding of the limitless potential that comes with your grace. I thank you for the anointing. I thank you for your provision. I know that the blessings you have granted us are not only for us. So I pray that you continue to give me eyes that see, ears that hear, and a heart of compassion for those around me. Give me wisdom, understanding, and sound judgment so that I can steward your blessings in a way that brings honor to your name. Thank you for setting me free. Thank you for giving me financial peace. Thank you for giving me peace in my spirit, in my marriage, in my family, and in my business.

I thank you that 2023 has ended dramatically different than it began. I thank you for a successful launch of my business. I thank you for your unmerited favor in our outreaches. I thank you for preparing the hearts, minds, and finances, of all those that we spoke to and for giving them the wisdom to invest with us through staking and equity. I thank you that the funding process went way quicker than anyone else thought was possible. I thank you that we didn’t have to go get other jobs. I thank you that we got the right people on board to help drive this forward. I thank you that we were able to provide opportunities to others to change their family tree and that we are well on the way to helping them to do that. May they be a blessing to others as well. I’ve always prayed that you would allow our cup to overflow to the point where those we bless become a blessing to others. I thank you for filling us with wisdom and insight to navigate this market and the people within it. I thank you for the incredible growth and for the fact that we’ve been able to manage it. I thank you for clearing the path for us from both a regulatory and adoption standpoint. I thank you that we’ve blown our revenue projections completely out of the water. I thank you that, because of your hand of blessing, we are loved by both the people and regulators alike. I thank you for an incredible group of people that make up our team. Thank you for helping me to lead them and for giving me the competence and confidence to serve them and the community well.

I thank you that I went from overdraft accounts to being a billionaire with over $100M in liquid cash on hand. I thank you for allowing us to upgrade into a bigger and nicer home and for allowing us to get the process underway for building our dream home. I thank you for how seamless and easy it was to secure the land, find a builder, get the plans together and break ground on it. I mean, it seemed even easier than when we bought our first home. But then again, that’s how you work in our lives, Lord. I thank you for my Bentley, putting me in the position to where I could buy my first Ferrari, and setting the stage for me to be able to buy the SF90 in 2024, when our home is done. I didn’t think it would happen so quickly. I thank you for giving us the freedom to spend a month in Virginia this summer—something that would have been financially prohibitive in the past. I thank you for all of the tokens of appreciation that I’ve been able to give my friends and family this year, including paying for Krystal and Britt’s honeymoon. I thank you that in spite of all of this, you have allowed my heart to remain humble. I thank you that these things are not my identity. May I honor you with my wealth, and may my success be a beacon of hope to others.

I thank you for health in my marriage and in my family. I thank you for how Carlisa and I have grown so much closer together, even though our family has grown. I thank you for how you’ve given me eyes only for my wife, and the additional attention that I get from my position goes largely unnoticed. I thank you for new levels of intimacy and openness in our relationship. It’s crazy to believe that marriage just keeps getting better. I thank you for affording me the freedom of time to give to my family, the way I’ve always wanted to. I thank you for a beautiful and healthy baby that has been incredibly calm and easy to nurture. I thank you that her siblings absolutely adore her and that jealousy never entered the mix. I thank you for helping me to start walking as the father that I’ve always wanted to be this year. I thank you that my children enjoy spending time with me and that I am afforded the luxury of spending ample amounts of time with them. I thank you that you’ve taught me how to really play with them again, and with Carlisa. I thank you for the laughter. I even thank you for the tears. I thank you for helping us to create a loving home that feels like a safe space for all who enter it. I thank you for your peace that permeates everything that we do. I thank you for my boys and for how they’re growing up to be well-balanced and loving human beings. I thank you for the care that they show for each other and their little sisters. I pray that you help me to continue to be an example that’s worthy of them following.

I thank you for allowing me to officially retire my parents and my sister. I thank you for allowing us to get them settled in brand new homes that they are absolutely proud of and enjoy being in. I thank you for their new level of peace and enjoyment from life. I thank you for allowing me to show them my love in tangible ways and to see your goodness through me while they are still able to enjoy it. I thank you for allowing me to buy my mom her dream car, and for being able to thank the Stevensons with their first million dollars. I thank you for positioning us to be able to do the same thing for them next year, even though they have no idea that it’s coming 😋. I thank you for keeping HJ safe and for allowing him to be on the path to self sufficiency. I thank you for Shelly’s peace and for allowing Hassir to grow up surrounded by so much love.

I thank you for my health and for how dramatically it has improved this year. I thank you that I can finally say that I’m actually healthy, rather than that there’s nothing wrong with me. I thank you that I no longer have afib symptoms or heart flutters and that my cardiovascular health has skyrocketed. I thank you for my cardio health and stamina. I thank you for how much stronger and fitter I’ve gotten. And I’ll even say that I thank you for how good I look now 😜😂. I thank you for the healthy habits that we’re teaching our children and for the active and healthy lifestyle that we’re growing into. I thank you for continued health and a long, fulfilling life for all of us.

I thank you for my spiritual growth this year. I thank you for all that you’ve taught me and revealed to me. I pray that you help me to hold on to these lessons and to be able to reflect them onto others without feeling empty afterward. I thank you for helping me to learn how to lead my family spiritually. I thank you for their curiosity and acceptance of you and the way that you show yourselves to them. I thank you for helping Carlisa and I be lights, not just to our family and friends, but also to the world. I thank you for taking the time to prepare us to understand that our wealth doesn’t change who we are. I thank you for helping us not be distracted by all of the stuff that you allow us to enjoy. I thank you for elevating our relationship to a level that I never thought was possible, and for continuing to guide me and encourage me to get even closer to you. I thank you for the clarity with which I hear you and am guided by you. I thank you for my mental peace and how the wealth you bestowed upon us came with no trouble.

I thank you for healthy relationships, healthy boundaries, and self-confidence. I thank you that I don’t think ill of my friends and don’t feel oppressed or a slave to anyone else’s opinions. I thank you for helping me to be genuinely me on all occasions and for putting my mind at ease about scenarios that I was anxious about before the money came. I thank you for helping me to be respected. I thank you for helping me to be self-aware without being self-conscious. I thank you for teaching me not to surrender my decision-making to others. I thank you for giving me the confidence to do what I want, and not what I think everyone else will agree with. Thank you for giving me the freedom to feel like I’m totally me, and that the decisions that I’ve made have been good ones.

Lord, I thank you for reaffirming and confirming that we are following your path for our lives. May our ears always be attentive to your word. May our hearts continue to be sensitive to your guidance. May we steward the platform you have given us, and may we honor you in all things. I pray that you would help me to continue to live a life that is above reproach. Protect my heart and my family from temptation and any weapon that may be formed to strike us down. I thank you that greater are You that is within us than anything that is in the world. I thank you for sending your angels to watch over us in all that we do. I thank you that your grace and favor follow us in all that we do. I thank you that you cause everything that we touch or are involved in to prosper. I thank you that rooms and organizations are left better because we were a part of them. I thank you for your plans to prosper us and not harm us. I thank you for hope. I thank you for our future. I thank you that 2024 is going to be even more incredible than we could ever have imagined.
